I'm glad it wasn't -25 C ! So after starting the portable ice shelter, me and my wife begun to fish. After sitting inside for around 120 minutes, we did start to get chilled. So I got the Blackcat out and sparked it down. The max setting cranks out 3000 btu's so I left it on high all the time. After about 30 minutes it heated inside, although not sufficiently warm to keep supra chaussures us warm and comfortable. With this heater you are able to move it around without difficulty and now we required it very close to us to feel the little heat it was giving out. It warms both hands and feet in time but the shelter was still alittle to chill inside for my rut.
